We arrived at our Airbnb at 7 Rue Monsigny about 1330 and after a few tries made our way through the doors and elevator which were password entry systems. Check-in time is 1600, so we were allowed to store our luggage while the unit was cleaned. Got every thing the corner of the living room, as we were leaving the cleaning crew arrived. So off to explore the neighborhood we went.

Crep Suzette - Creps & Aperol Spritz . . . our first meal in Paris!

After our late lunch, we strolled the Passage Choiseul; a shopping and restaurant passage through the block between Rue Saint Augustin and Rue Des Petits Champs.

Our Airbnb, a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath apartment on the 4th floor. The elevator opens to a hall, to the right you have 2 bedrooms and a bathroom; to the left the living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and the third bedroom. Our floor was the top of the complex, so our rooms had the French slant in the outside walls.

Spacious for the 6 of us, nice gathering table, Nespresso machine. Made for a convenient location to visit Paris sites. Evening Aperol Spritz happy hours and late night visits after exploring.

After unpacking; Kay, Dawn and I headed out toward the Louvre to find the Tuileries Christmas Market. We were not disappointed, Road the large Ferris Wheel - The View for great views of Paris in her glory, decorated for Christmas. We drank mulled wine and enjoyed the sights and sounds. So reminiscence of a State Fair with its midway rides and bright lights at night. Here there was more food and rides than Christmas decorations and sprinkling of Paris souvenirs.

Escargot and Grilled sausages

What a fabulous evening in Paris!
